- Short story: My boyfriend gave it to me during my birthday last May. April is my 2nd pet. I had a puppy before who was cross breed of duschand and pekinis but died of parvo. :( Now that I have April, I'm making sure of it that I'm giving her the proper care I could. Oh and by the way, she sleeps with me in bed. She can't sleep without and electric fan though. Hehehe..
